LYRICS
You've been handing me a lot of sweet talk
About things you want us to do
Well, you’re talkin' about settlin' down
In a dream house built for two

Well, I hate to disappoint you
But I don’t fit in to that plan
For I'm a ramblin' woman
And you're a home-lovin' man
Yes, I'm a ramblin' woman
Lord, I hope you understand
'Cause you know a ramblin’ woman’s
No good for a home-lovin' man

There’s a whole lot of places
My eyes are longin' to see
Where there is no dream cottage
No babies on my knees
And there's a whole lot of people
Just waitin' to shake my hand
And you know a ramblin’ woman's
No good for a home-lovin' man

Take all of that sweet talk
And give it to some other girl
Who'd be happy to rock your babies
And live your kind of world
For I'm a different kind of woman
Got a different set of plans
You know a ramblin' woman's
No good for a home-lovin' man
Yes I’m a ramblin woman, lord I hope that you’ll understand
You know a ramblin’ woman’s no good for a home-lovin man

With four critically-acclaimed albums under her belt, Kelsey Waldon has forged a strong presence in the Country and Americana scene. Her uncut lyricism and natural country sensibility recall her upbringing in Monkey's Eyebrow, Kentucky. After moving to Nashville, she cultivated a loyal following through frequent touring across the U.S. and two critically acclaimed albums. Her persistence paid off when, on stage at the Grand Ole Opry, John Prine invited Kelsey to join his Oh Boy Records family. In 2019, Kelsey released White Noise / White Lines on Prine's Oh Boy Records. An unflinching work that details Waldon's life, hopes, and pains, the album earned her a nomination for the Emerging Act of the Year Award at the 2020 Americana Awards.
