LYRICS

It’s the night before a holiday
Everything’s closed and gone away
Everyone’s tryin’ to make it to opening day It’s just a silent night in the country
Drive past the liquor store
You know I don’t drink that stuff no more The rumble of the engine feels like my soul Smooth when it’s runnin’
A little rough when it’s not movin’
That’s why I like to ride around alone
Think about everything I’ve done
Take it all in and enjoy the show
Just like it’s the first time
(Chorus)
You know I like to ride around in my ol’ Comanche And wonder If you ever think about me Do you ever think about me?
I know you wish you knew me like when I was a kid But I’d never go back to how it was then We’ve all got our own amends to make We’ve all got our own hearts to break
That’s the way it is
That’s why I like to ride around alone
Think about everyone I love
Remember most, forget some
Just like it’s the first time
(Chorus)
You know I like to ride around in my ol’ Comanche And wonder if you ever think about me Do you ever think about me?
You know I like to ride around in my ol’ Comanche And wonder If you ever think about me Do you ever think about me?
Do you think about me?
You know I like to ride around in my ol’ Comanche Ol Comanche
Ol Comanche
