Lyrics:
They’re lighting up their lawns already
Blowing up their nativity scenes
The evergreen supply is dwindling
And so are my odds of getting to see you
Before another year is through
That’s just the way it is right now
The world’s on fire and I’m allowed to

Cancel Christmas this year
It’s just not quite the same without the gang in town
It’s not Christmas this year
It’s just another day that I’ll be hanging round the house again alone

There’s cardboard cutout reindeer prancing on the roof
And children dancing in the window round a fire
I wonder as I’m walking by
If anybody’s looking at me
Anybody’s thinking about me in the world at all tonight
If not then I reserve the right to

Cancel Christmas this year
It’s just not quite the same without the gang in town
It’s not Christmas this year
It’s just another day that I’ll be hanging round the house again alone

Without you here with me
I don’t want to do anything
Just roll on through straight to spring
I deserve to be free to

Cancel Christmas this year
It’s just not quite the same without the gang in town
It’s not Christmas this year
It’s just another day that I’ll be hanging round the house again alone
