Can’t Cut Loose-

Anytime you call me back
I come running, its true
know you’ve got me down like clockwork, honey
give me the go-ahead to.

Remember when we were just children?
Laid up all afternoon
Wanna be free like we once were honey
but I cant cut loose

(C)
Wanna be free like we once were
Want it even now, don’t you?
wanna be free like we once were, honey
but I can’t cut loose

And I know I got a far-away dream
it runs high up above our heads
and I want to be a grounded woman for you honey
but it takes me up there instead

So I set em up; all of my rules
cause I wanna do right, not wrong
but I Wanna be free like we once were, honey
Them two sides don’t get along
