About Tiera Kennedy: Born and raised in Gardendale, Alabama, 27-year-old R&B/Country/Gospel trailblazer Tiera Kennedy is in bloom. Inspired by artists like Aaliyah and Loretta Lynn, she released her full-length debut album ROOTED on October 18, 2024—11 self-penned songs that reflect the past 8+ years she’s spent cultivating a sound all her own. “I’m stepping into an era publicly—both musically and personally—that is entirely me,” she shares. “In what I thought was my lowest low, I could finally see the roots of what had been growing all along.”
