Lyrics:
A family of birds sings me awake
Right to the rhythm of every breath that you take
Last night fell without you so I fell asleep
Waiting on footsteps and shuffling sheets

The sound of you
Coming home to me
The sound of you
Coming home to me

The sky loses it’s blues and mine creep in
I wait for the moment I hear it again
That beat up car engine roaring
Halfway down the street

The sound of you
Coming home to me
The sound of you
Coming home to me

When the silence is broken
By the door opening
Nothing is ever as sweet as

The sound of you
Coming home to me
I love the sound of you
Coming home to me

A wordless melody
The only thing that I need

The sound of you
Coming home to me
I love the sound of you
Coming home to me
