TRACK 2: Angels or Los Angeles
💚Fun Facts💚
While driving on a solo tour, I really did see a church sign that said “Kindness is it’s own reward” and scrambled to write that down in my notes app.
Kris Donegan is heavily featured on this track. Electric, slide and baritone. Kris was the sole electric player on my first two records. Can’t say enough great things about his playing. People always ask who played on Hotel Amarillo. That’s Kris.
Erin Rae didn’t sing a word on my album but she did sing a lot of oooos, including the harmony ooohs on this.
I had the chorus for this one for a long time before I could find the right story to set it up.
