Lyrics:Thank God you’re gone
I needed the space
I’m tired of hearing your voice
And lookin’ at your face
I packed your bags
And threw them on the lawn
My prayers have been answered
Thank God you’re gone

I wish you well
away from me
Just go bark up
Some other tree
I’m gonna burn some sage
And put a record on
That one you hate
Thank God you’re gone

I’m gonna let the dog
Sleep in the bed
He never makes me cry
Or messes with my head
He doesn’t tell no tales
Or do me wrong
Lord what have I been missing
Thank God you’re gone

Thank God you’re gone
I needed the space
I’m tired of hearing your voice
And lookin’ at your face
I packed your bags
And threw them on the lawn
My prayers have been answered
Thank God you’re gone
