Lyrics

2, 3, 4

I’m dreaming again
My point of view is better than it’s been
I sold my guitar for rent
And now I’m dancing in the kitchen with my best friend
And we’re flying
Yeah we’re trying
To not take it all so seriously
It’s good grief

For just a second everything feels like it’s gonna be
A little less bitter little more sweet like it oughta be
On the other side of a bad night where I couldn’t sleep
Promise me
This could be
Good grief

It’s a blessing and burden
The way it washes over me
And the proof is in the hurting
That’s running down my cheeks
When I’m crying
And I’m trying
To find the rest in the mess a little relief

For just a second everything feels like it’s gonna be
A little less bitter little more sweet like it oughta be
On the other side of a dark sky hanging over me
Promise me
This could be

Good
When it’s good
Yeah it’s good
When it’s good
Yeah it’s good
When it’s good
Yeah it’s good
When it’s good

For just a second everything feels like it’s gonna be
A little less bitter little more sweet like it oughta be
Heaven ain’t so far if it’s standing right in front of me
And finally
I could let it be
Good grief
