Lyrics:
Sings her songs at airport bars
To old men, shooting Irish car-bombs
She thought she’d have it all figured out
Thought she’d have it all figured out

Takes her tips to the Speedway
Pack of smokes and 10 on 8
A handful of scratch offs
And all the rest to the Power ball

She’s just out here trying to get Lucky
Ain't we all just trying to get Lucky

C'mon and throw me something
It all cant mean nothing
Don't drop me on a limb just to watch it break
Oh for Heaven’s Sake

She’s got a favorite of the guys she’s seeing
He’s good in bed and good with her feelings
But she knows, it’ll never work out
Yeah she knows, it’ll never work out

She’s supposed to blame it on her daddy
But he’s only unkind to his money
And her favorite brother’s in the army
Yeah that’s right her favorite brother got shot in the army

He said I guess I just got lucky
Ain’t we all just trying to get lucky

C'mon and throw me something
It all can’t mean nothing
Don't drop me on a limb just to watch it break
Oh for Heaven’s Sake

C'mon and throw me something
It all can’t mean nothing
Don't drop me on a limb just to watch it break
Oh for Heaven’s Sake
