LYRICS
(yeah yeah yeah)
I've had a hard day
i was awake all night
she try to tell me
boy you never doing it right out on the table
so go and help yourself
i be damned by the morning dogs are gonna get ya

up and down a mountain
i been up and down a mountain

now I'm in a hurry
i been around all night
i love the country
my baby loves the morning light call me a liar
but now my woman is out
i go down to the river
find me something pretty

up and down a mountain
i been up and down a mountain

now making my way up she try to ring my neck
i was a cowboy
calling like everyone else she want the country she started taking it off
i was dying for the honey hard driving weather

up and down a mountain
i been up and down a mountain

i never thought about you like that
i was swinging through the park and the trees maybe now maybe never
who's to say
i loved you
and you loved me
alright baby

(yeah yeah yeah) (yeah yeah yeah) (yeah yeah yeah)
i been up and down a mountain i been up and down a mountain i been up
and down a mountain i been up and down a mountain
