I wrote this song with my friends Sunny Sweeney and Dylan Altman.

This song just feels so good to play, but I connect with it on a deeper level. The line "Letting go of this paint-by-number dream" sums up a lot of feelings I've been grappling with over the last few years. As much as I still love the music, I've realized I can't predict the path and the most important thing is to be in the moment and love the work. If be true to myself and the music I love means being outside the in crowd, then I'm happy to paint outside the lines.
