LYRICS "Gumbo Christmas":
We're gonna have us a Gumbo Christmas
Just like we always do
We're gonna get together to make the greatest roux
Made with love and family and a little bit of understanding
We can make this Gumbo Christmas memory

Bell peppers, onion, celery that makes the holy trinity
Sausage, bay leaf, shrimp and crab
They make the best Gumbo I ever had

We're gonna have us a Gumbo Christmas
Just like we always do
We're gonna get together and make the greatest roux
Made with love and family and a little bit of understanding
We can make this Gumbo Christmas memory

Grandma Paw Paw and Teedy too
Cousins, nieces and nephews
Uncle, Paran, ya Mom and Dad
They're the best Gumbo I ever had

We're gonna have us a Gumbo Christmas
Just like we always do
We're gonna get together and make the greatest roux
Made with love and family and a little bit of understanding
We can make this Gumbo Christmas memory

I know this time of year can be so hard
When a loved one passes on it leaves a scar
Sometimes things fall apart
But they'll always stay in our heart

So let's have us a Gumbo Christmas
Just like we always do

We're gonna get together and make the greatest roux
Made with love and family a little bit of understanding
We can make this Gumbo Christmas memory

Gumbo
(Gumbo)
Christmas
(Christmas)

Gumbo
(Gumbo)
Christmas (Christmas)

Gumbo
(Gumbo)

Christmas
(Christmas)

(Gumbo)!
