Lyrics:
There it goes again
The kind of leaving that don’t ever end
Ain’t nothing in the world that could make it stay
It’s been a real long time
Since the hour I could call it mine
Somehow it’s just always getting away

There goes my mind
There goes my mind
Every time
It’s wandering blind
There goes my mind
There goes my mind

I try to keep it in line
But don’t you know it’s just the rambling kind
Always slipping out the backdoor running like a thief in the night
But in my defense
Nothing ever really makes much sense
Thoughts are just always taking flight

There goes my mind
There goes my mind
Turn my back and I find
It’s wandering blind
There goes my mind
There goes my mind

Like an engine on a one way track
Watch it roll
Got a feeling it ain’t coming back
Not like before
It ain’t like before

There goes my mind
There goes my mind
Turn my back and I find
It’s wandering blind
There goes my mind
There goes my mind
Turn my back and I find
It’s wandering blind
There goes my mind
There goes my mind
There goes my mind
There goes my mind
There goes my mind
