Somebody’s Shot of Whiskey Erin Enderlin

Erin Enderlin – Somebody's Shot of Whiskey (Acoustic Video)

Hey y'all! Hope you enjoy this acoustic video filmed at Farmland Studios of my latest release "Somebody's Shot of Whiskey" – a honky tonk song about being yourself and finding "your people" that love you just as your are.

Lyrics:
It’s a Blue Ribbon morning, after a black label night
I got kinda outta hand, cause I was wound up a little too tightJesus still loves me even when I do the devils ways I’m just a honky tonk angel, with a little bit of hell to pay
I’d rather be somebody’s shot of whiskeySomebody’s rough around the edgeAt least I can sleep well tonightCause I stand behind the words I saidCant make everybody happyAnd that’s alright by meAs long as my baby loves meAll the way from A-ZI’d rather be somebody’s shot of whiskeyThan everybody’s cup of teaAll my life I’ve been told I’m cut from a different from a different cloth
And if I tried to hide it, it’d all come out in the wash
If I’m a little left of center, well I don’t give a damn
Cause I got all the friends I need, that take me just the way amI’d rather be somebody’s shot of WhiskeySomebody’s blue flame in the fire
Some people see the rose, some people gonna see the briarCan’t make everybody happyAnd that’s alright by meAs long as my baby lovesAll the way from A to ZI’d rather be somebody’s shot of whiskeyThen everybody’s cup of tea
Cant make everybody happyAnd that’s alright by meAs long as I can please my babyAll the way from A-ZI’d rather be somebody’s shot of whiskeyThan everybody’s cup of tea
