Erin Enderlin – When I'm Drinking Whiskey (Acoustic Video)

Hey y'all! Hope you enjoy this acoustic video filmed at Farmland Studios of "When I'm Drinking Whiskey" off of my Barroom Mirrors EP – A song for those times when you just need a stiff drink and good cry.

Lyrics:
I hear you asking, what am I having
I’m drinking Jack on the rocks
And you can buy one for me, but boy you might be better off
With that blond at the table, cause she might be able
To give you the smile that you want
I don’t mean to be rude, I’m just not in the mood for small talk

If it was red wine, you’d be just fine
Cause I’d be on top of the world
If I was sipping on beer, when you walked in here
I might be you’re girl
You can light up my smoke, but don’t get too close
Cause tonight this broken heart’s busy
And I’m thinking bout him when I’m drinking whiskey

Proceed with caution cause I’ve hit the bottom
Of way more than just this glass
When I’m drinking doubles, that light in that tunnel starts fading fast
Don’t get me wrong, these days I’ve moved on
But some nights I miss what we had
And that 80 proof burn just knows how to turn the clock back

If it was red wine, you’d be just fine
Cause I’d be on top of the world
If I was sipping on beer, when you walked in here
Well I might be you’re girl
You can light up my smoke, but don’t get too close
Cause tonight this broken heart’s busy
And I’m thinking bout him when I’m drinking whiskey

You can light up my smoke, but don’t get too close
Cause tonight this broken heart’s busy
I’m thinking bout him when I’m drinking whiskey
Oh, I’m missing him when I’m drinking whiskey
