LYRICS

I heard out in Denver, you can’t even land a plane
There’s no sign of stopping and it’s been coming down for days
Right outside your window looks like an old-time Christmas scene
But it ain’t as cold in Colorado as it is in Tennessee

Way up there in them mountains, bank sign reads five below
That winter wind is howlin’ lord it chills you to the bone
That snow can keep on fallin’ baby, but without you here with me
But it ain’t as cold in Colorado as it is in Tennessee

It set in the night you left me that heartbroken, lonesome chill
And it sure don’t feel like Christmas without you it never will
I could build me a big ol’ fire baby, but that ain’t the kind of fire I need
But it ain’t as cold in Colorado as it is in Tennessee

Way up there in them mountains, bank sign reads five below
That winter wind is howlin’ lord it chills you to the bone
That snow can keep on fallin’ baby, but without you here with me
But it ain’t as cold in Colorado as it is in Tennessee

Way up there in them mountains, bank sign reads five below
That winter wind is howlin’ lord it chills you to the bone
That snow can keep on fallin’ baby, but without you here with me
But it ain’t as cold in Colorado as it is in Tennessee
Oh that snow can keep on fallin’ baby from now til the first of Spring
But it ain’t as cold in Colorado as it is in Tennessee
