Burning House by CAM – TIERA

Burning House by Cam

I first saw Cam when she was opening for Dan and Shay in my hometown and I feel in love with her voice. I'm so glad I got to meet such a wonderful person. I hope y'all like my cover of her new single "Burning House".

Burning House by Cam CHORDS AND LYRICS
I play Burning House differently than the way it is played on the record. The way I play it is the simpler version of the song. I've gotten requests to post the chords that I use so here you go!(:

I play on Capo 6, but if you want to sing in the same key as Cam play on Capo 5
(I pick the entire first verse and then I strum the rest)
Intro: Em7 D Cadd9 (2x)

[Verse 1]
Em7 D Cadd9
I had a dream about a burning house
Em7
You were stuck inside
Cadd9 D
I couldn't get you out
Em7 D Cadd9
I laid beside you and pulled you close
Em7 Cadd9 D
And the two of us went up in smoke

[Pre-Chorus]
Em7 G Cadd9
Love isn't all that it seems I did you wrong
Em7 G Cadd9
I'll stay here with you until this dream is gone

[Chorus]
G
I've been sleepwalking
D
Been wandering all night
Em7
Trying to take what's lost and broken
Cadd9
Make it right
G
I've been sleepwalking
D
Too close to the fire
Em7 Cadd9
But it's the only place that I can hold you tight
Cadd9 D
In this burning house

[Verse 2]
Em7 D Cadd9
See you at a party and you look the same
Em7
I could take you back

I'd be the one you thought you'd find
