Lyrics:
Wasted with the loons
On a ripe blueberry hill
Swinging for the tallest fences
But we fall too soon
Tangled up and twisted
Like the pages that we burn
So we breathe in that old fire
And aim to shoot the moon
Even if it seems futile
We’ve got nothing to lose
Cross our hearts and hope to die
We cross our fingers, too
Taking off our clothes
We dive into the freckled sky
And everything is light
We start lifting off the ground
Starry eyed never coming down
Shoot the moon
Acid in the afternoon
And coffee in the night
Buzzing passed our demons
Blowing kisses out of spite
They’ll be coming for us soon
If we don’t fight the fright
So we fuel up that old fire
And aim to shoot the moon
Gather round the crystals
And the candles we pray to
Cross our hearts and hope to die
We cross our fingers, too
Taking off our clothes
We dive into the freckled sky
And everything is light
We start lifting off the ground
Starry eyed never coming down
Shoot the moon
