Lyrics:
Break the glass or turn it off
I’m tired of watching the same thing
I wanna laugh
Laugh it off
But I’m done
Doing the polite thing

Myself against the world I build
I build it up in my head
I let the sunshine kiss my skin
I let it in, I let it in, I let it in

It’s a new day
I got plans
I’m gonna make amends
Gonna call my friends
Making up the bed
While I’m still in it
I’m tryna get ahead
Pulling up the covers
Hiding from the clutter

I’m all dressed up underneath my hoodie
I can dance real good, no one can see me
All bark no bite, I’m pulling at my collar
I lie about my height but I’m honest with my heart

It’s a new day
I got plans
I’m gonna make amends
Gonna call my friends
Making up the bed
While I’m still in it
I’m tryna get ahead
Pulling up the covers
Hiding from the clutter

Go outside
Get in touch with my insurance provider
Stop using Amazon
Pet dog
Wave to Frank
Get that thing on Amazon
Stop smoking
Avoid Frank
Get weed
Text Joe
Write a song
Delete song
Email therapists

It’s a new day
I got plans
I’m gonna make amends
Gonna call my friends
Making up the bed
While I’m still in it
I’m tryna get ahead
I’m pulling up the covers
Hiding from the clutter
