Lyrics
I am going
Back a few steps
Swallowing some
Just to go one

I am going
Back a few steps
Coming undone
In the process

I held a sword and a shield
A young defense I
Know it’s senseless
To hide a wound that don’t heal
It turns a burden
To heavy to wield

I most want what I most fear
A deeper Knowing
Someone to show it
Shy away from those who come near
So controlling
Of what I could feel

So I’m going back a few steps
Swallowing some
Just to go one
I’m going back a few steps
Coming undone
In the process
